Before you pick-up your rental you will require the following:

1: Valid G drivers license

2: Appropriately rated trailer hitch for the trailer your renting (weight rating and ball size)

48 hours notice is required for a full refund on your rental.

If less than 48 hours notice is given, a single day rental rate on the reserved trailer will be charged to the card on file

NO SHOWS

No shows on the date of the rental will result in a full rental charge.

1: Return the trailer to the pickup location

2: Confirm all accessories have been returned and or placed inside or on top of the trailer.

Some loads appear small but are dense and heavy. Things like books and construction material may appear smaller but weigh more than household fixtures. Always take into account the approximate weight of the load and don't overload your vehicle or trailer. If you have doubts, split the load up and make two trips to be safe.

Dirt or gravel is even heavier, the capacity is on your rental contract or on a sticker near the tongue of the trailer.

Generally, you want 60% of the weight of your load placed in front of the trailer axles ( closer to the tow vehicle) and always secure your load with straps or load binders to keep the load from shifting. A shifting or loose load can cause damage to the trailer, yourself, and others.

When towing a trailer take into account the extra weight and expect your vehicle to take longer to come to a complete stop. Turning with a trailer behind you require some skill so you do not cut the corner short and turn into the ditch or a curb or worse another vehicle on the road. Always position your mirrors so you can fully see the tires on the trailer.
